Shortlist for MIDAS Electronic Project Competition 2017 Announced
After much deliberation, the shortlist for the 3rd level MIDAS Electronic Project competition (sponsored by Analog Devices) has now been announced. The three entries that will go forward to the final on 12th October are:
• Jiayi Shao, ITT.
Project title: “Wireless Sensors Web Server- Intelligent Greenhouse Design”
• Yipeng Shen and Zhixiang Li, IT Carlow.
Project title: “Acoustic Source Localization of Autonomous Robotic Machines”
• Martina Nunvarova, Foo Shen Hwang, Pawel Chmura and Khalid Al Alawi, IT Carlow,
Project title: “Enhancing Photo Harvesting through Dual Axis Solar Trackers”
Congratulations to Jiayi, Yipeng, Zhixiang, Martina, Foo, Pawel and Khalid and thanks to all those who entered the competition this year (13 entries in total this year).
