The national winners of the MIDAS Ireland sponsored CANSAT competition, the Confey College team visited the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in the Netherlands last week. They were joined by the other national winners from 25 European Countries. During their time there, the students presented their winning project to ESTEC staff and were given an extensive tour of the ESTEC site. They also attended several fascinating and inspiring lectures from real Space engineers about Space travel. From all reports a “fantastic” time was had by the 4 students and their teachers!
