Pilot Photonics is an Irish scale-up company that develops unique integrated photonics solutions to overcome scaling problems in communication networks, particularly in the AI/ML, datacenter, 5G/6G mobile, and space markets.
Our vision is a future of high speed connectivity that leverages the power of optical combs. Optical combs are multi wavelength, the data carrying capacity is N (N the number of comb lines) times that of a single wavelength laser. Comb lines can also be combined to produce other useful data streams. By pioneering next-generation integrated photonic technologies, we empower industries and individuals to exchange data with unprecedented speed, efficiency, and reliability — high speed interconnect is one of the key enablers accelerating innovation and sparking breakthroughs that transform the way we work and live.
