With the deadline for entry to the MIDAS Electronic Project Competition just passed, we are very pleased to report that a record number of 36 entries have been received. This is more than a 100% increase in entries from last year.
The MIDAS Electronic Project Competition has been designed to foster excellence in electronic and microelectronic design and development and is open to all students studying electrical, electronic or microelectronic engineering in 3rd level colleges. A €1000 gift token will be awarded to the winning project and €250 gift tokens awarded to the two runners up. The prizes have been kindly sponsored by Analog Devices, Ireland.
The adjudication panel will now get to work on reviewing all the entries to draw up a shortlist for the final on 6th October 2016. The shortlist will be announced by Mid-September.
Thanks to all the students that have taken the time and effort to enter the competition.
