Kernel Capital Manager of The Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Investment Funds is delighted to confirm it has led a syndicated investment in Limerick and Belfast-based Arralis, a developer of world-leading expertise in radio-frequency, micro and millimetre-wave technology.
Arralis’ technology is used in both global and space environments where accuracy and reliability are critical.  With ten new products in the pipeline, the company recently opened a design centre in Belfast to further their growth plans.  Since investment Arralis have increased employment by 30 per cent which they plan to double in 2015.
The European Space Agency has contracted Arralis to deliver a radar system, which can be used to identify dangerous landing zones with the identification of small objects, such as rocks, which may cause damage to the spacecraft.
