Programme overview
The Mindful Leader Program is a proven and practical field-tested leadership development program that over 450 Senior Directors and 500 Senior Managers have successfully completed to date.
This is a six-month experiential leadership development program, consisting of a virtual Program Launch, three in-person Leadership Development Workshops, five ninety-minute virtual Executive Coaching Sessions and a virtual Program Graduation and Report Out. Self-Awareness assessments, including a Leadership 360 Report, are also critical components of this Leadership Development Program.

Course Outline
The Program begins with a ninety-minute virtual Program Launch which provides participants with a detailed description of the leadership journey ahead. The Program Launch is followed by three full day in-person Leadership Workshops. The first workshop will explore how to create cultures of sustainable high performance , how to replace organizational drama with effective leadership and how to communicate to maximize influence and leadership effectiveness. A process to accelerate trust building and Psychological Safety will also be covered in this first workshop. Workshop 2 will focus exclusively on Mentoring and Coaching and how to create empowered team members and empowered teams through effective delegation. The final workshop will cover the two important topics of transforming conflict and differences of opinion into collaborative outcomes and the art of holding effective courageous conversations. Once all three workshops have been completed, each participant will receive five ninety-minute Executive Coaching sessions to support them to integrate the leadership models and theory into their leadership roles to support them to take their leadership impact to the next level. The program concludes with a Program Graduation and Report Out.

Trainer Profile
JJ O Riordan’s original qualifications were in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and following his graduation in 1984, JJ joined Analog Devices where he worked for twenty four years. During his time in Analog Devices, JJ was the Chair of the Test Technology sub-group of the Midas organization. In 2008 he left Analog Devices to establish his own leadership development company , called The Mindful Leader Academy and since then JJ has facilitated leadership development program in more than thirty locations around the world including China, India, Singapore as well as many locations throughout the US and Europe. To date more that 1000 leaders have completed this Mindful Leader Program and more than 120 leaders have completed this program here in Ireland through the iTAG Skillnet in Galway. Companies such as Fidelity Investments, Hewlett Packard Enterprizes, Boston Scientific , Abbott and Analog Devices have all sent team members to participate in the iTAG Skillnet co-sponsored Mindful Leader Program.
Along with his Engineering qualification , JJ is also an accredited Psychotherapist and Business Coach and his hobbies include travel, golf and continuous learning.
